Following are the preparatory courses for students who want to study and work in Canada:

English as Second Language (ESL)

Our courses will help you enhance your English language proficiency for social and professional setting and building your confidence. The course content targets students’ test preparation, academic skills and professional communication. This course aims to help students to meet minimum English language competency requirements for other programs that the students wish to take.

The course focuses on basic skills of following modules 

  • English vocabulary, structures and expressions needed to communicate in the workplace and everyday situations.
  • Basic and advanced grammar and composition skills
  • Pronunciation, fluency and speech

IELTS Preparation

IELTS is a test developed by the world’s leading experts in language assessment on four key English language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. It is designed to assess the language ability of people who aim to study, work and integrate an English-speaking environment. There are two streams of learning namely academic and general. All candidates take same Listening and Speaking Modules while Reading and Writing Modules are different for academic and general candidates. Which stream is required depends on candidate’s ultimate objective.

Canadian English Language benchmark Assessment for Nurses (CELBAN)

CELBAN is an occupation-specific language test that assesses proficiency within real-world health care scenarios. The CELBAN™ has been endorsed by the licensing bodies of Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses across Canada.

CELBAN is the first language assessment designed specifically for international educated nurses. It evaluates proficiency in listening, writing, reading and speaking and is recognized as proof of language proficiency by all Canadian nursing regulators.
