College Instructor – Part Time

JOB SUMMARY:

BizTech College is looking for an experienced ‘College Instructor’ to join our team at the campus in Mississauga, Ontario. This strong personality will be responsible for teaching ‘Pharmacology and Anatomy Subjects’ in a manner that associates with the values of BizTech College. The suitable person will be using a range of teaching strategies to meet and support the learning needs of our students along with incorporating a variety of creative tools and useful practices to maximize student involvement.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for teaching students according to approved curriculum.
• Participate in a team approach and atmosphere we strive for at the college amongst students and
  faculty.
• Conduct classes with a focus on the specific lesson plan and make the learning experience fun.
• Set up a systematic plan to teach the students that includes lectures, presentations, group
  discussions, interactive activities, independent and group projects.
• Already prepared teaching material (PowerPoint Slides/Test Banks and other required resources)
  will be provided to teach the students.
• Utilize instruction techniques/methods that identify and consider requirements and learning
  capacities of students and change when required in response to students of needs.
• Maintain fair and consistent discipline with the students.
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust courses accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduated from Healthcare Programs like – Master in Health Sciences or equivalent or Diploma in Primary Care Paramedic or Advanced Care Paramedic
• Preference Candidates will be those who have experience as a Primary Care Paramedics (PCP)
  or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)/Registered Nurse (RN)
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of teaching/work experience.
• Strong communications skills (Written and Oral).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Part Time

WORK HOURS:

Hours of work will be assigned by the Mississauga Campus, General Manager.

Pay:

25 to 40 dollars/hour

COMMENCE DATE:

The scheduled start date is immediate.
